9/11 Online Community Support Group:
Dealing with Media Coverage of September 11th Related Events

There is still significant media coverage of events related to September 11th.  With the Moussaoui trial proceedings scheduled to begin March 6th, we are again faced with making decisions about how much coverage to watch and how to make sense of it.  Do we talk about it? Do we ignore it?  This chat session will allow participants to talk about these concerns and identify strategies to cope with physical and emotional reactions to the media coverage.

Please join your peers in the 9/11 community on Wednesday, February 15, from 8-9PM EST. This online chat session will provide 9/11 victims' families, survivors, first responders, and others affected by the attacks at the Pentagon, the World Trade Center, and Shanksville the opportunity to discuss issues and topics of importance in a safe, supportive environment. As a reminder, all participants must be FOS11 members (please see below on how to register as a member - membership is free). Dr. Donna Gaffney, a licensed mental health professional and noted trauma specialist, will facilitate the chat.
