The Mass 9/11 Fund is sponsoring a Remembrance Book for families.  This book will allow families to share thoughts, memories and pictures of their lost loved ones with other 9/11 families and will be a lasting legacy.  In order to have the book ready for distribution by September 2004, the Mass 9/11 Fund needs to have submissions by June 1, 2004.  This gives families less than six weeks to create a layout (examples of the three possibilities can be found at http://www.massfund.org) and finalize decisions.

The staff at VOCAL AFAR, who have worked with many families in Massachusetts, know that such projects can be challenging.  Many families may find this project to be difficult either in terms of finding the time to dedicate to creating it or dealing with the emotions it evokes.  To help with both of these obstacles, Lucinda Nolet and Meghan Gehan have scheduled a workshop for families in the area to come together, work on the project, and get ideas and support from each other.  They will have templates of the three layouts, examples of text and the energy to help you get you started.  Please join them and bring your photo albums, memories and stories.
