FOS11 Chat Program Online Community Support Group
Telling Your Story

Families of September 11th, StoryCorps, Safe Horizon, and the World Trade Center Family Center are partnering to offer a special opportunity for FOS11 members to share and record their stories. Through StoryCorps' September 11th Initiative, anyone closely impacted by September 11th is invited to participate in a StoryCorps interview (at no cost to the participants).  There are numerous opportunities to participate, including a unique opportunity at the WTC Family Center on November 30th.  For more information on this initiative click here.

To support this initiative, FOS11 will dedicate the next two chats to the topic of "Telling Your Story".  Whether you decide to participate in the StoryCorps project, or find other ways to tell your story, we know this is an important part of the healing process, and offer this opportunity to share experiences with each other.  The chats will be held on Wednesday, November 15th and Tuesday, December 5th from 8-9pm EST.

Dr. Donna Gaffney, a licensed mental health professional and noted trauma specialist, will facilitate the chat.
