Healing and Remembrance Program Will Assist 9/11 Victims and Families During 10th Anniversary http://www.9-11healingandremembrance.org May 17, 2011 September 11th victims and families will have a new resource to assist them during the 10th commemoration ceremonies. The 9/11 Healing and Remembrance Program funded by the US Department of Justice and administered by the NYC Mental Health Association, will offer a variety of services including: a 24 hour hotline; travel and lodging; and a website containing information about upcoming 9/11 events as well as tips on how to cope with anniversary-related stress.

StoryCorps http://www.storycorps.net The September 11th Initiative The September 11th Initiative honors and remembers the stories and people affected by the events of September 11, 2001. These interviews will be housed in the permanent collection of the National September 11 Memorial and Museum at the World Trade Center. StoryCorps regularly conducts interviews at two soundproof booths in New York City, one in Grand Central Terminal and one in Lower Manhattan at Foley Sqaure. They also have two mobile recording booths that travel the country. All StoryCorps StoryBooths are designed to be safe, quiet, comfortable spaces where participants can talk and listen to each other.
