Dear FOS11 Member,
You are invited to attend a screening of the film Last Best Chance. Citizens for Global Solutions will have a free public viewing of the film at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 26th in Room 1501 of the University of Pittsburgh's Posvar Hall, which is near Schenley Drive in Oakland.
The docudrama is about the threat of nuclear proliferation and nuclear terrorism and underscores the risks posed by vulnerable nuclear weapons and materials around the world. After the film, there will be a town hall discussion with local and national specialists on the security threats posed by nuclear proliferation.

Last month, the Nuclear Threat Initiative (NTI) and FOS11 launched a joint public education initiative to raise awareness about the threats from nuclear, biological and chemical weapons and materials so citizens can help reduce these threats. This project includes activities such as: national screenings and discussions of the docudrama “Last Best Chance” the release of three Public Service Announcements (PSAs) to more than 1,200 television stations nationwide; the launch of the www.saferworld.org website for comprehensive information on how Americans can make the country safer and more secure, and public meetings to discuss the threat and prevention of nuclear terrorism.
If you want to learn more about the work Families of September 11 and NTI are doing to prevent nuclear terrorism, please visit www.saferworld.org and help us as we are "Turning the D into an A".
