COS11 Website Re-Launch
Families of September 11 (FOS11) recently re-launched its Children of September 11 (COS11) webpage. Our goal is to provide caretakers of children impacted by the events of 9/11 with accurate and current information that can easily be accessed and understood.
Visit COS11 to find answers to…
Children & Trauma
How can I help a child cope with traumatic loss?
Who can help me understand children and grief?
How does a child process grief over time?
How should we teach/commemorate 9/11 in schools?
How can I tell if my child's school is secure and prepared?
How do I help my child's teachers and counselors understand the effect of 9/11?
Programs & Activities
What scholarship opportunities or financial aid programs are there for children affected by 9/11?
Are there summer camps or special programs available?
Where can I find support or mentoring programs for my child?
Are there any upcoming events geared to children or their caregivers?
