Resiliency (Ri-zil-yen-se): (1) the ability to allow joy to coexist with sorrow, to celebrate and share in life's blessings and to triumph over grief even while acknowledging its presence; (2) an attribute displayed by our members and friends.

Welcome to the FOS11 Resiliency Album. Whether it's a first prize for a fly fishing tournament or a daughter's prom night, we want to share the healing and resiliency represented by our members after 9/11. One FOS11 member in Katy, TX, donated letters created by her children's classmates. Written to 9/11 family members and the heroes of that day, these letters express compassion, gratitude, and pride in being American. We hope you enjoy this album and encourage you to contribute your own story to the FOS11 community worldwide.
