April 3, 2003 United Airlines - Important Bankruptcy Information Dear Member: As you may be aware, United Airlines filed for bankruptcy on December 9, 2002. In connection with its bankruptcy proceeding, United has issued a Notice of Deadline for any person who wishes to assert a claim against United, including bringing a wrongful death action. This deadline requires people to file a claim in bankruptcy court by May 12, 2003 to preserve his/her claim against United.
