There will be a screening of the 45-minute docudrama “Last Best Chance”, followed by a panel of experts discussing the threat posed to our communities by what the 9/11 Commission called “loose nukes.”

Last month, the Nuclear Threat Initiative (NTI) and FOS11 launched a joint public education initiative to raise awareness about the threats from nuclear, biological and chemical weapons and materials so citizens can help reduce these threats. This is project includes activities such as: national screenings and discussions of the docudrama “Last Best Chance” (www.lastbestchance.org), the release of three Public Service Announcements (PSAs) to more than 1,200 television stations nationwide; the launch of the www.saferworld.org website for comprehensive information on how Americans can make the country safer and more secure, and public meetings to discuss the threat and prevention of nuclear terrorism.
