Families of September 11, Inc. Wilderness Program 2003 - 2004

Join us on our first hike of the Spring Season - Sunday, April 25th!  FOS11 and the North Shore Child & Family Guidance Center invite you to participate in a day-long, scenic hike at Harriman State Park in Sloatsburg, New York.

Who: Family Members and Friends from NY, CT, and NJ - All are invited to attend, including children, relatives and family friends.
What: Together, we will explore the outdoors, meet new families, and relax. The hike will be led by trained professionals who are experienced in leading wilderness activities.
When: Sunday, April 25th, 2004, from 10:30AM – 5:00PM
Where: Harriman State Park, Sloatsburg, New York. Sloatsburg is a small town on Route 17, south of Tuxedo, New York. Let us know where you live and we will help you with directions and planning for the outing. Some transportation to the park is available for families, tell us if you need assistance. Lunch and snack will be provided for free for all participants! We will hike a variety of terrain, and will be hiking on an advanced beginner trail — appealing to all levels of hikers!
Why: Nature offers exercise, incredible views and peace! Take this opportunity to connect with others, see spring flowers, and be outside.
